Firstly, I would like to introduce myself as the new Membership Secretary of East Bierley Cricket Club. My name is Rob Blamires and I have been coming into the club for the last 5 years since moving to the area. I hope you agree that there is no better place to watch cricket on a summer’s day, alongside hosting community events throughout the year. It is almost Spring, and another exciting season of cricket will be upon us! This means another action-packed summer at East Bierley Cricket Club. Alongside our adult teams we will be having a full complement of youth teams competing again this year (U9’s, U11’s, U13’s, U15’s)

I would like to thank you all for your membership and support throughout 2024/2025. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

The club has made significant investments throughout 2024. The improvement to our infrastructure will be hidden to members, but rest assured a lot of off field work by the committee is taking place to put East Bierley Cricket Club the place to be for all your sport, social and function needs.

A noticeable investment was our new terrace area in early 2024, creating an excellent social space for not only watching cricket, but for hosting socials events and functions. I’m sure you will agree it has been a welcome addition to our facilities and a great place to spend an afternoon in the sunshine.

In addition to this, our roof had started to show signs of aging, leaking in several areas. As such we carefully considered and agreed to utilise membership payments alongside further fundraising to replace the roof in its entirety, ensuring that the club stays watertight for years to come. Further works shall be commencing in the upcoming weeks leading up to the start of the season to replace all our existing walkways around the club.
.We continue to be one of the few pubs and sports clubs in the wider area who show both Sky Sports and BT Sports all year-round, including Amazon Prime games around the Festive period.

For the first time, we are introducing an early bird offer for memberships and as long as you renew before 1st April. We are pleased to announce there will be no increase in cost from last year!.
However, as like many businesses, we are going to be absorbing higher costs moving into the new season (particularly employment costs) which will hinder our ability to reinvest in the club at current prices. Therefore, if you decide to renew your membership after 1st April, there will be a slight increase in price.
I would urge you all to take advantage of the Early Bird offer and renew before 1st April.
Your annual membership subscriptions are due from 1st April, and I hope you will be renewing and continue supporting East Bierley Cricket Club

ADULT MEMBER - £25.00 to £30.00

SENIOR CITIZEN - £16.00 to £20.00

PATRON - £30.00 to £35.00

ADULT PLAYER - £85.00 to £100.00

JUNIOR PLAYER - £75.00 to £90.00

JUNIOR PLAYER FAMILY - £100.00 to £120.000

ADULT COUPLE - £40.00 to £50.00

SENIOR CITIZEN COUPLE - £25.00 to £35.00

Making Membership Payment?
Our preferred method of payment is through our website or app (Provided by Pitchero) as it takes away a lot of our admin cost. Simply head to https://www.eastbierleycricketclub.co.uk/payments or access via the Pitchero app if you have downloaded it already. Head to the shop and all membership categories will be available for you to purchase. You can purchase for yourself or others (if for others, they will have to be a registered user on our database).
