2nd XI v Batley
The 2nd team ran riot on Saturday and were finished by 3:30pm as Paul Martin (3-8) and Wayne Robinson (3-9) skittled out Batley for just 75.

We cruised to an eight-wicket win to pick up 19 points.

MOM awarded to Wayne Robinson for a great opening spell to get the lads off to a fantastic state.

1st XI v Batley
In a rain affected game Batley batted first and made 310-8 with Jack Dyson again the most successful East Bierley bowler with 5-62 taking him to 29 wickets for the season.

Tom Burton (65) and Ben Heritage (59) put together a second wicket stand of 113 before the Bierley innings was interrupted by rain.

Coming off in the 35th over on 179-4, we never get back on losing by 21 on DLS.

East Bierley picked up 7 points.
